This one-time, two-hour class is designed to help believers grow in confidence and clarity as they learn to hear God’s voice through His Word.

Jesus tells us, “My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Hearing God is not reserved for a few spiritually elite people—it is part of the normal Christian life. Like sheep learning to recognize their shepherd, we grow in discernment through time, practice, and relationship.

In this class, we will explore:

  • What Scripture teaches about God speaking and how He has always revealed Himself through His Word

  • How to distinguish God’s voice from our own thoughts, emotions, or external noise

  • Why revelation precedes vision—and how God often clarifies direction as we spend time with Him

  • Practical tools for reading the Bible with attentiveness, learning to listen, reflect, and respond

  • The role of obedience and discipline, recognizing that hearing God grows through consistent time in Scripture and prayer

Participants will leave with a biblical framework, simple practices they can use immediately, and renewed confidence that God desires to speak and lead them as they open His Word.

This class is not about chasing new revelation, but about learning to recognize the faithful voice of the Shepherd who is already speaking.
